I know it's been a while since I have "blogged" but I really have not known what to say. So here is just an update with what is going on with the Fosters:
Cameron: He is anxiously engaged in planting our garden. He had it planned out in January and he has about 20 seed catalogs that he reads all the time and orders seeds out of. He asks my advice, but this is pretty much his baby and he cracks me up with how excited he gets about it. We are going to have a ton of fruits of veggies in our garden this year! Cameron built a green house in our spare bedroom with 2 x 4's and flourescent lights, and we have seeds growing all over the place. I am glad that he has this hobby now that basketball season is over and he's home more in the evenings. He is waiting to hear if he needs surgery on his thumb, so basketball may be out of the question for a while for him. It won't keep him from gardening though. I just love my green-thumbed gardener man!
Vanessa: I have been working for Sun Healthcare for almost six months, and this is an amazing accomplishment for me, compared to my record with other jobs in the past. What is also amazing is how much I still do not know about being a clinical dietitian. I wish that I could remember everything I learned in school, but darn it, I have to keep reviewing at home to keep up. I also have to deal with a lot of administrative stuff and I go to a lot of meetings and handle A LOT of paperwork. I go through one pen every 1-2 weeks. It's still much better than being in school, althought I really did miss not having a spring break. This is my first year since before kindergarten not having a school schedule, and it has taken some getting used to.
I am really ready for spring, and the warm weather the last few days has just been great. It makes me laugh because I see people who have already gotten the shorts out. To an Idahoan after a long winter, 50 degrees is really warm! As for me, I think I will still hold off a bit!
