Oakley wearing "Oakley's" (brand of sunglasses)
On Friday, I brought home our 6 week old Golden Retriever puppy, Oakley. He is so much fun! Friday and Saturday, we were all trying to adjust to one another and Oakley was pretty nervous and would not eat. Those first two nights were also rough, mainly on me because I was so anxious that he was going to start whining or not be able to "hold it" and pee in his kennel. I did not get much sleep and was letting hime out every two hours. Now, we have adjusted well and Oakley is very playful and thriving. I took him to work with me today--there are other dogs that come to the care centers with their owners as well--and everyone loved him. I was worried he would be nervous or pee everywhere, but he has not had a single accident inside, mainly because I watch him like a hawk. The cutest thing about the whole affair is that Cameron did not want a dog and I had to beg and beg to get Oakley. You would never know that watching Cameron and Oakley together. He loves him just as much as me. We are having fun practing our "nurturing" skills and taking care of a puppy!

On Friday afternoon, he would go and hide and curl up in different corners of the house. Cameron "helped" by covering him with a rag!

Falling out of his kennel that he sleeps in at night
He just love him so much!
