Blast from the past!

This post is dedicated to Brooke Richards, Brittnee Dye, and Cyrie Foster. I was jammin' out to the song playing right now called "Set me free" this morning, and I just had to share it because I have some great memories associated with it. My freshman year of college at BYU-Idaho, I made the "Spirit Team" that was similar to a drill team, and my cousin Brooke got elected as the coach. My cousin Brittnee and high school bud Cyrie also made the team so it was like high school drill team all over again. We worked on a dance to this son pretty much all semester and performed it at the BYU-Idaho talent showcase and also a Firth Basketball game. It was so fun, and I hope you three girls remember it! I wish I had a video of us performing the dance to preserve the memories. I have not been on any dance team or taken any other dance classes except for modern dancing at ISU

The pictures!

These are the pictures that were supposed to be posted on my last post. This is Jamie, my old roommate, Cameron, her husband, Beck, their son, and Malorie, Jamie's sister. It was so good to see them. Thanks for the great time!

TOO MUCH FUN!

This last weekend was so fun. First of all, I got to see my old Roommate, Jamie, who I have not seen in over two years. And they just live in Boise! I finally got to meet her son, who is two years old, and she is expecting her second. They were going to a wedding in Twin Falls, so we planned so we could get together for a little while in Twin Falls. Cameron drove from Burley after work and we went to dinner and to the park at the bottom of the canyon. She is such a great friend and it was fun to catch up. I have pictures of the evening that I was going to post and I cannot get them off my camera! Dang, I will have to have Cameron help me when he gets home.

Anyway, Saturday we cleaned the house, worked outside, and then drove to Pocatello where we threw a surprise birthday party for Cameron's mom. Brooklyn, Cameron's sister, got tickets to a dinner and the play, "Grease" at the Mystique theatre. She was very surprised and even more happy when we told her all the kids were spending the night and going to church together. She often says she wants us all home at once, so it was a great present for her. Here's just a few pictures of us at dinner and Cameron playing around with our nephew, Daxton.
