new exciting job!

I have been meaning to post a new entry for a few days now, but things have been crazy! I have been trying to change my blog template several times lately, but I keep getting error messages. So for now I have a boring template until I get some help from the experts.
So I have some great news! I was offered a job on Thursday! And now just any job, mind you--a full time dietitian position in a long term care company! I was not looking for a job, as I was so sure that nothing was going to turn up in this area for a while. A lady in my ward told me about this opening in Twin, and I thoughtI would be stupid not to at least look into it. I felt pretty confident after the first interview, but when I found out I was going to be the only dietitian for two very busy care centers/nursing homes owned by the same company, and that they were offering way better compensation than the hospital dietitian positions in the area, I knew I did not have a prayer? Why would they hire me when I am fresh out of school?
Well, I have learned over the last few days that God has a plan for me, and this is something I am supposed to do. Everything has just fallen into place, and I feel so humble and greatful. This is not what I planned for this stage in my life, but here I am and I am trying to have faith.
My manager and coworkers at Wells Fargo are shocked that I am leaving after only working here for two months, but they understand and I hope there will be no ill feelings.

As a side subject, my sister, Brianna, is getting married next Saturday, and her reception is Friday night from 5-7 p.m. in my parent's backyard. It is the homecoming football game that night, and if any of you are planning on beig in Firth that weekend, please stop by my parent's house so I can say hi. Hopefully the weather will be good for my sister that day!

Vanessa, that is wonderful. I have had experiences like that where I know that the hand of the Lord is guiding my life and it's so neat when you're able to step back and see that, and be grateful. Congratulations on your new job!!

Congrats on your awesome new job! I must say, I am extremely jealous that you are done with school...I am excited for when we get to that point! We'll keep enjoying it while we're here though. I am so sad I won't be able to come to Brianna's reception because of volleyball, but I'm sure it will be beautiful and that she will look gorgeous! Tell her congrats for me, I am so happy for her!

Congrats on the new job! I think it is awesome you were inspired to apply for this job in Twin...doing exactly what you are qualified for. I loved my teaching job at I.S.U. and I know it was inspired from Heavenly Father!

Best of luck!
p.s. please post some pic's of Brianna's Wedding!
