new normal

This past week has been so fun and challenging. Cameron came home from North Dakota on Friday and is going to be home for a few weeks at least. It is so nice to have him home, as we now feel complete and I also have a little help. Just helping with the laundry is a big help! Jacoby and I have been working on getting on a schedule for naps and eating and he is sleeping better at nights. He wakes up and eats and then goes back to sleep. So nice! Last night was rough though, so I know it will take time to get the routine.

I am trying to just take one day at a time and enjoy my precious bundle. Some of my favorite moments so far are when he snuggles into my chest and when he is wide awake and stares into my eyes. Right now he is 3 1/2 weeks old and I just put him in size 1 diapers yesterday. His newborn outfits are pretty tight and he will be out of them really soon. It just goes so fast! He is drinking 4 oz every 3 hours and I am already flying through formula.

Next week, I work at the hospital two days and have a client at the gym on top of that. I will miss him so much! I plan to work two days a month for a while. I also have a food review due for the city jail the end of the month. Cameron has only changed one diaper so far and he is watching him, so that should be interesting!

Here are a few pictures I have snapped on my phone.
