Kimber is 3 months old and Jacoby cracks me up

I am so busy lately with these two little kids and it's hard to find time to post on here, but I want to because I don't want to forget any of this! This morning, I had a "grateful moment" when I stopped to realize how grateful I am to be a busy mom! I wished for exactly this for many years and although my days are crazy and messy sometimes, I don't want to look back with regrets. They change and grow so fast!

Anyway, Kimber turned 3 months old on  May 4th, and she is getting to be a fun baby instead of a newborn with no expressions. She is excellent at making eye contact now and makes cooing sounds. She started smiling last week, but I have yet to catch it on camera. They are very fleeting but so sweet. She opens her mouth wide and sticks her tongue out a little bit. Kimber is loving her jumper toy because she can sit up and see all around her and is liking her swing more now (hated it as a newborn.) When we go shopping, she often rides in my Ergo baby carrier so Jacoby can sit up front and I have room for food. At the park, I take my double BOB stroller, and she enjoys being in the stroller for the most part. As for sleeping, she slept through the night for the first time last night! I gave her a dream feed at 10:30 pm before I went to bed, and she stayed asleep until 7:15 am. It was awesome. She no longer likes to have her arms swaddled, so she is definitely growing up!

Jacoby is hilarious right now. He does not forget things he wants to do, and his current obsessions are the lawn mower and the four-wheeler. He constantly wants to ride both of them and put gas in them. We don't have a riding one, but Grandpa Boyer does and anytime we talk about them, he immediately says he wants to ride the "john deere maw mower with gwampa". I feel bad for him when Cameron's gone because he wants to ride our four-wheeler so bad with his new helmet, but I have to tell him no until daddy gets home.

Jacoby is really into being scared right now...of monsters, alligators, bad guys, and sometimes bugs. He tells me all about what is going on in his imagination right now and it is so cute! I love that I can reassure him and that he still likes to be held and give hugs. Yesterday when I wiped his hands off after dinner, he said, "You are the best ever!" I don't know where he got that, but it made my day. I love that little boy so so much!
