One Month Old

I cannot believe Kimber is one month old as of March 4th! The giraffe in the picture is her "size comparison doll" many adoptive families use to show birth families how much the child has grown. Kimber's birth mother has an identical giraffe.
At one month, Kimber is

• sleeping through the night (okay no not even close)
• sleeping most of the day and night, just waking up to eat every 2-3 hrs. Some days it's seriously every 2 hrs she wants a full bottle! It's exhausting!
• Drinks 4 oz of formula
• wears size one diapers as of this week
• wears some newborn clothes and is fitting better into 0-3 month clothes
• likes to spit-up 
• falls asleep while eating and lets milk run into the folds in her neck (some people call it milk-drunk)
• likes to be swaddled
• hates getting her clothes changed and really hates getting a bath
• likes to be held and looks up at me with the cutest big brown eyes
