It seems like our major pasttime this time of year is watching football on t.v. or live. Kenyon, Cameron's younger brother, is a senior on Aberdeen's football team, and they have had an awesome season. I really don't understand football that well and it's not my favorite sport to watch, but it has been fun to watch Kenyon and his team in the mini dome the last two weeks. They have been un-defeated all season, and they are 2:0 in play-offs right now. They play Parma next Saturday for the semi-finals, and if they win, then they are in the state championship game. I am excited for them! For most of those seniors, it will be the last time they play competitive football in their lives.
Pocatello is about an hour away, but we have made the time to come down for the games and we run errands while we are in town. Burley is great, but I am really realizing that there were so many stores in Pocatello/Chubbuck that we totally took for granted. There is also a Farrs ice cream store really close to our old house in Pocatello, and they have tons of different flavors for only $1.00 a cup. We had to go there on our way out of town last night, and lo and behold, we ran into two couples from our university ward. It was good to see them and made us miss all our friends in Pocatello. Sometimes you don't really know what you had until it is gone!
